Abstract

Common cold is reviewed in terms of related microbial, host and environmental. factors Discussed herein also are the agents, Rhinovirus, Coxsackie virus, Echovirus, Reovirus, Adenovirus, Influenza virus, Parainfluenza virus and Respiratory Syncytial virus.
Though our knowledge concerning the factors of the host and environment has not been so well explored as that of the microbials, the former must be emphasized on as important factors as microbials in the pathogenesis of common cold.
